Course Materials Copyright and Personal Use Policy

1. Personal Use by the Registered Student Only

All Ivy League Center course materials are provided exclusively for the personal educational use of the individual student who is officially registered and authorized to participate in the course.

The right to access and use course materials is personal, limited, non-transferable, and exclusive to the registered student.

No other person is authorized to access, view, use, copy, receive, or otherwise obtain the course materials unless Ivy League Center has provided prior written authorization.

This restriction applies regardless of whether the other person is a family member, parent, sibling, friend, classmate, tutor, teacher, school, organization, or any other individual or entity.

2. All Course Materials Are Covered

Covered materials include, but are not limited to:

  • recorded class sessions;
  • video recordings;
  • audio recordings;
  • course handouts;
  • PDFs and other electronic documents;
  • worksheets;
  • problem sets;
  • practice problems;
  • answer keys;
  • detailed solutions;
  • step-by-step solution explanations;
  • class notes;
  • lecture notes;
  • presentations and slides;
  • homework and assignments;
  • mock tests and practice examinations;
  • worked examples;
  • diagrams and illustrations;
  • instructor-created explanations and commentary;
  • original problem-solving strategies and methods;
  • recorded explanations of individual problems; and
  • any other written, digital, audio, visual, or instructional materials provided as part of the course.

3. No Sharing or Distribution

Without prior written authorization from Ivy League Center, the student may not:

  • forward course recordings or files;
  • send handouts or PDFs to another person;
  • share problem sets or solutions;
  • share answer keys;
  • provide another person with access to recorded classes;
  • upload course materials to any website or online platform;
  • post course materials on social media or messaging platforms;
  • place course materials in shared cloud storage for access by others;
  • give another person a private or public access link;
  • copy or reproduce course materials for another person; or
  • otherwise make any course material available to any third party.

Sharing with Even One Person Is Prohibited

The prohibition applies even if the material is shared with only one other person and even if no money is received in exchange.

The fact that the recipient is a friend, family member, classmate, or another student does not create an exception.

4. No Transfer of Access

Access to Ivy League Center course materials cannot be transferred, assigned, lent, sold, shared, or sublicensed to another person.

A student’s enrollment does not give the student the right to provide course materials or course access to anyone else.

The registered student is the sole authorized user of the course materials provided to that student.

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property Protection

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, transmission, publication, public display, public performance, or other unauthorized use of protected materials may constitute copyright infringement and/or a violation of other applicable rights.

Ivy League Center reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law, including, where legally available, injunctive relief, monetary damages, statutory damages, recovery of costs and attorneys’ fees, and other available remedies.

6. Important Notice

ALL IVY LEAGUE CENTER COURSE MATERIALS ARE FOR THE REGISTERED STUDENT’S PERSONAL EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY.

THE REGISTERED STUDENT IS THE SOLE AUTHORIZED USER OF THE COURSE MATERIALS PROVIDED TO THAT STUDENT.

NO COURSE MATERIAL—WHETHER WRITTEN, ELECTRONIC, AUDIO, VIDEO, OR OTHERWISE—MAY BE SHARED, FORWARDED, COPIED, DISTRIBUTED, UPLOADED, PUBLISHED, OR OTHERWISE PROVIDED TO ANY OTHER PERSON WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM IVY LEAGUE CENTER.

THIS INCLUDES COURSE RECORDINGS, HANDOUTS, PROBLEM SETS, ANSWER KEYS, DETAILED SOLUTIONS, NOTES, PRESENTATIONS, AND ALL OTHER COURSE MATERIALS.
