This year’s contest is of intermediate difficulty compared to the contests in the last 5 years. Based on our intensive research and comparison of this year’s AMC 8 problem set with the problem sets of the last 36 years from 1985 to 2020, we predicted that this year’s AMC 8 Honor Roll (top 5%) and Distinguished Honor Roll (top 1%) cut-off scores would be:
- AMC 8 Honor Roll cut-off score: 19
- AMC 8 Distinguished Honor Roll cut-off score: 22
